The University of California, Irvine Humanities Gateway project was awarded the National Design-Build award in the Public Sector $25-50 Million category by DBIA. The $30 million, 76,207 SF Humanities Gateway project at University of California, Irvine (UCI) is a four-level building with instructional and support space, a film screening room and auditorium. The project includes a 46,500 SF designated area for instructional research, general assignment classrooms, academic and administrative office space, 550 SF for testing rooms for the campus Disability Service Center, a 127-seat lecture hall, and a 990-seat file screening room. The project achieved LEED Platinum Certification with the U.S. Green Building Council.
