Operations

Our operations teams collaborate with clients and partners to deliver construction services in all markets, including new construction and renovations, in both the private and public sectors. We utilize our in-depth market expertise and proven approach to provide preconstruction budget solutions, and our on-site teams deliver predictability to our clients with the highest level of quality and safety in the field.

Quality Control

Our quality control professionals are responsible for the management and implementation of our project-specific quality control plans. They bring the expertise and leadership to our project teams for the successful execution of our comprehensive process.

Safety

Our safety professionals work with project teams to evaluate and monitor health and safety hazards and develop strategies to control risks in the workplace. They collaborate with project teams to instill an unparalleled safety culture, inspect our job sites for compliance with workplace safety regulations, and provide educational resources.

Virtual Design, Construction, and Operation (VDCO)

Our VDCO teams lead the industry with incredible innovations that enhance our traditional construction processes. VDCO is not only about BIM but also includes the entire life cycle of data within Plan, Build, and Manage. The VDCO team engages early with the project team and works to create a plan with the end in mind, allowing owners and Hensel Phelps’ Facility Services to leverage this same data to manage their facilities.

Estimating

Our estimating teams analyze the costs and define the scope of work necessary to procure/execute projects. They work closely with designers and owners to truly understand the project’s requirements at the earliest stages. By building strong relationships with our trade partners, they are able to provide accurate and competitive pricing.

Project Planning and Development

Our project planning and development teams work together to identify opportunities, develop client/partner relationships, and secure profitable work for the company. The team also creates awareness for the firm and provides support for business development activities.

Supplier Diversity

The Hensel Phelps supplier diversity team collaborates with our trade partners as well as our clients to facilitate participation matching their initiatives and interests. This custom approach to supplier diversity fosters cohesiveness from conception to implementation and through monitoring of small business enhancement initiatives that are designed to ensure their success on our projects.

Technology

Our team is responsible for the design, development and delivery of the MEO Cloud and associated technologies to both Hensel Phelps employees and our partners. This department manages on-premises and third-party SaaS applications, custom application development, hardware and software procurement, infrastructure systems, cybersecurity, device deployment and user support.
