Our Safety Initiatives

Hard Hats to Helmets

25% of all construction deaths happen because of serious head injuries. Accidents involving things falling or moving are a big reason why people get seriously hurt at work. We’ve heard these stories of accidents that could have been avoided for a long time, and it’s time to make a change.

 CARES

Craft Awareness, Recognition and Engagement in Safety (CARES) creates a culture where everyone has a voice. Craft taking care of craft in partnership with
management through ownership, communication and prevention to achieve
Hensel Phelps’ goal of zero accidents.

SAFE

Safety Accountability for Everyone (SAFE) is a comprehensive observation program that creates an accident-free culture through employee engagement.

SAFE recognizes people for doing the right thing and working safely on the site. Each person is accountable for their own safe work practices.
