Hensel Phelps’ Field Engineer Bootcamp is designed to promote the value of being a builder. Through the instructions of our team experts and leaders, we continue to bolster what it means to build with integrity where each builder can share their passion and expand upon their professional skills. Bootcamp is more than just training–it’s a mission to strengthen and enhance Hensel Phelps’ greatest asset–our people.
Throughout 2023, SoCal is hosting a total of four bootcamps where our newest field engineers will learn in the classroom and in the field at a dedicated training site. Experienced employees present on topics such as concrete layout technique, lift drawings, equipment fundamentals, building carpentry, as-builts, quality craftsmanship and leadership. Closing ceremonies consist of total station setup races and reflection of the week’s key takeaways for application on each jobsite.
