University of Washington Health Science Center D-Wing Rx Renovation

About the Project

The University of Washington Health Science Center (HSC) D-Wing Rx Project included the renovation of 2,600 SF of an existing dental school clinic and laboratory into a new research laboratory, office and support areas for the University of Washington School of Pharmacy at the Warren G. Magnuson Health Sciences Center. The existing structure was a concrete frame building with concrete slabs and walls, exterior masonry and concrete, with existing aluminum frame exterior windows.  New construction included laboratory wood casework and countertops, sheet flooring, aluming storefront with entry doors, suspended acoustical ceiling, window film on the existing exterior glazing, plumbing and HVAC systems, upgraded electrical and IT systems and installation of laboratory equipment.
