Hensel Phelps Annual Halloween Golf Tournament Raises More Than $80K

Golfers Participate in 18-Hole Scramble at Rancho Bernardo Inn to Benefit Bannister Family House in San Diego

One hundred twenty-eight golfers and over 50 Hensel Phelps volunteers teed off for a cause at the Rancho Bernardo Inn Golf Course on October 31 at the Hensel Phelps Annual Halloween Charity Golf Tournament presented by title sponsor Flood & Peterson. Generous support from all participants helped raise more than $80,000. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Bannister Family House in San Diego.

In addition to Flood & Peterson, other major sponsors were ACCO Engineered Systems, Bergelectric, The Brady Companies, California Sheet Metal, Cosco Fire Protection, Dynalectric, Helix Electric, Morrow Meadows Corporation, Nevell Group Inc., Pacific Coast Glazing and SPY Optic.

Dressed up in Halloween costumes, participants teed off at 8 a.m. Along the course were themed and interactive stations where the golfers could get to know Hensel Phelps and participate in an array of activities including golf darts, an air cannon golf ball launch, RC Race Car competitions and drone racing.

Prizes were given for Best Team Halloween Costumes, Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin contests, in addition to a prize for the winning team. A 50/50 raffle and additional raffles for gift baskets and door prizes were held.
