Tuesday November 5, 2013

The HENSEL PHELPS San Antonio Public Safety Headquarters project receives the 2013 Civic Buildings, National Design-Build Award from the Design Build Institute of America.

The San Antonio Public Safety Headquarters is a 210,000-square-foot, $53-million design-build project by Hensel Phelps and Fentress Architects, with associate architect Lopez Salas. The project consists of a six-story office building and nine-story parking garage. The buildings, completed in August 2012, realize the City’s vision of creating an architecturally striking, centralized, state-of-the-art headquarters that brings together the complex operational programs of both the City’s police and fire departments.
